Maria took us on a very interesting and enjoyable walk/hike through what is for most tourists, unseen Gaios. We walked on small trails and by olive groves and traditional Greek homes. Our destination was Tripitos Arch (stunning and more spectacular than if seen from the sea)and Lesianitis Windmill. Maria is from Gaios and a mine of information about the area, even showed us a walnut tree. The walk is about 2 hours and requires a reasonable amount of fitness as a good portion is uphill.

The truth is that some trails in Paxos are quite tough, full of stones and with steep uphills that leave you breathless. Even though I got tired on 1-2 climbs, the organization was such that I enjoyed the route without getting stressed at all! The route led us to the cliffs of Eremitis at the perfect time, offering a stunning sunset! Fortunately, Maria had suggested that we bring a hat and water with us, because they were truly necessary. The choice of stops was very well-targeted. I will definitely choose her again!

An unforgettable day in paradise! Antipaxos is a must-do!
Booking the Antipaxos walk with Walking on Paxos was the absolute highlight of my holiday! Antipaxos is a tiny paradise and exploring it on foot is the best way to see its true beauty. The landscapes are stunning, with lovely vineyards, quiet paths and dramatic cliffs. The best part of the walk was coming over the hills to see the amazing beaches Voutoumi and Vrika from above. The light blue water looks exactly like a swimming pool! It was a perfectly organized day and an incredible adventure for me and my children.
If you want to experience the magic of Antipaxos away from the boat crowds, you absolutely must do this walk!

I recently used Walking on Paxos during my holiday and it was a great experience. The routes take you through beautiful olive groves, quiet villages, and lead to amazing views of the sea. It is a fantastic way to see the authentic side of the island away from the busy beaches. I would rate the difficulty as moderate. Some walking trails are rocky and uneven, so you definitely need good walking shoes or trainers.
Overall, it was a memorable experience. If you like nature and do not mind a bit of a workout, I highly recommend booking a walk with Maria!
