Maria took  us on a very interesting and enjoyable walk/hike through what is for most tourists, unseen Gaios. We walked on small trails and by olive groves and traditional Greek homes. Our destination was Tripitos Arch (stunning and more spectacular than if seen from the sea)and Lesianitis Windmill. Maria is from Gaios and a mine of information about the area, even showed us a walnut tree. The walk is about 2 hours and requires a reasonable amount of fitness as a good portion is uphill.
